http://stuff.tv/The 6600 Slide isn’t the brainiest Nokia we’ve seen. Like its sibling, the 6600 Fold, it’s a Series 40 handset, so lacks the IQ of the forthcoming N96. But it crams a lot into its tiny, gleaming steel case, including a very high-res screen and a 3.2MP camera.
http://www.mobileburn.comThe 6600 Slide measures 93mm x 45mm x 14mm (3.7" x 1.8" x .6") in size and weighs a respectable 110g (3.9oz). Nokia claims that the 6600 Slide's 1000mAh battery should be good for up to 4 hours of talk time or 14.5 days of standby time when used on 850 or 2100MHz UMTS networks, though we expect it to get more talk time when it is working on any of its 4 GSM/EDGE frequency bands. Nokia expects the 6600 Slide to be available for purchase in Q3 of this year for about 250EUR, before taxes and any carrier subsidies.
http://www.mobilegazette.com/As we mentioned before, this is very similar to the 6500 Slide. The 6600 Slide is lighter at 110 grams (compared to 123 grams), but the battery life is shorter. It's a more compact device, although it lacks the classic Nokia styling of the 6500. The 6600 Slide features aluminium and steel in its design to give it a feeling of quality, as did the 6500. In other words, if you have a 6500 Slide, there's no pressing reason to rush out and get the 6600 Slide.
