Samsung i900 Omnia hitting Germany in August

theunwired reported Samsung Germany unveiled the release date and price for Samsung i900 Omnia in Germany. Th Windows Mobile 6.1-powered will be available from 6th August and without a contract, the 8 GB version will be available for 649 Euro.

Furthermore, Samsung confirmed that the i900 Omnia will be available from all four German carriers (T-Mobile, Vodafone, E-Plus and O2).

The Windows Mobile 6.1-powered Samsung i900 Omnia features :

• quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE support,
• 7.2Mbps HSDPA,
• built-in accelerometer,
• WiFi module,
• USB port,
• FM tuner,
• Bluetooth,
• 3.2-inch 400 x 240 resolution display,
• 5-megapixel camera (with smile detection and geotagging).
